Preferred Rental is the official and original creator of the Rental Guide Publication. It was started in 1997 and has become the #1 choice people use to find home rentals in our area. In 2003 we started a Relocation Service. We staff ‘personal shopper agents’ who work very closely with our clients in order to find the rental of their choice. A great alternative to the Rental Guide and certainly a much easier one! If you are re-locating, you know how difficult it can be looking for that perfect rental. We can step in and make it so much easier.
We know landlords need help too finding tenants! So we offer an ‘Exclusive Property’ service…a good alternative for finding that perfect tenant. We meet the prospective tenants and pre-screen them for each individual rental. Every day we are in touch with hundreds of people coming to our website and/or calling or coming in our office. We are able to rent the landlords rentals easier and quickly due to our high volume of people who use our service and by marketing rentals in ways that work. We advertise our ‘Exclusive’ rentals through our extensive network within the community, our website, our walk-ins, newspapers, real estate agents and other media available to us. We work closely with each landlord until a suitable tenant is secured.
For the past 10 years we have been members of the Chamber of Commerce and have housed many of their members as well as their referrals. We are also members of the Santa Barbara Rental Property Association. We appreciate all of their patronage and support.
